City Carbonic LLC is Oklahoma’s oldest CO2 gas distributor. Food grade CO2 gas is sold in cylinders or through our bulk delivery system. Cylinders can be customer owned, rented, or leased. Customer owned cylinders are filled on-site while the customer waits. We fill your cylinder and return it to you. No cylinder swap outs. We have the capability to fill almost every size of cylinder on the market…with the exception of SodaStream cylinders…no one can fill those so take them back to the big box retailers. If you prefer cylinder rental option, simply bring in your City Carbonic rented cylinder and we will exchange it, or call our office to arrange for cylinder delivery. Wholesale filling is also available.

Beverage grade nitrogen is sold in cylinders, or we can install a nitrogen generator for continuous, no run-out nitrogen gas service. Nitrogen cylinder gas is also available with our auto changeover system

Documentation of air quality is maintained on file and available for customers upon request. Quality breathing air is our top priority. Know when you use our breathing air refilling services, you are receiving clean, safe air to best support your health.

SCUBA and SCBA cylinder valves can be repaired or replaced on site by our trained and skilled technicians.

OXYGEN

Breweries require oxygen to achieve the perfect, desired taste of their products. During  fermentation, oxygen is necessary for the diffusion of yeast cells. The oxygen is driven out of the wort during the boiling process, and once cooled, injection or aeration of oxygen must be added as a result.

Ownership

A cylinder’s owner has cradle to grave responsibility for it. Buy any new or reconditioned cylinder in our store. You pay for the gas and the cylinder outright. You now own this asset. We will gladly fill it for you as long as it has a current test date. You, as the owner, are responsible for the maintenance costs of keeping the cylinder in-test and safe to fill. When you bring your customer-owned cylinder to us, we fill your cylinder and return it to you typically while you wait.

 
If your cylinder is out of test, we offer in house cylinder retesting. Lead time for cylinder testing varies based on volume. Please plan ahead if possible to avoid being without your cylinder at an inconvenient time. If you need a cylinder to use in the interim, you can rent a City Carbonic cylinder

Rental

For business accounts requiring cylinders we offer cylinder rental. We swap empty for full cylinders as needed via delivery truck or in our store. All assets are barcoded and tracked by serial number. To open a business account, complete our New Account Application. We own the assets and your business purchases the gas as needed

Lease

We designed our lease program to benefit our small business customers who only have one or two cylinders on site and do not turn them quickly. Lease a cylinder for a nominal upfront investment plus the price of the gas. Leases renew on an annual basis until the cylinder is returned. No partial refunds are available if the cylinder is returned mid-year. We own the asset and you purchase the fills as needed. The annual lease is designed to “pre-pay rent” for the entire year on each asset.

CityTrac Asset Tracking

CityTrac is our system of tracking cylinders in and out of your locations. By tracking usage and conducting cylinder balance reviews, CityTrac reduces your rental costs by exposing stale assets. Each City Carbonic LLC asset has a unique barcode, corresponding with the serial number. These codes are electronically scanned and recorded by hand-held computers each time a cylinder enters and leaves your location. All transaction data, including signature capture technology, is downloaded daily into our computer system and is available upon request

Because CityTrac provides series of checks and cross-checks by date and time stamping, accurate bottled gas inventory information is available at your fingertips. We scan the barcodes at all stages of distribution: filling, truck loading, delivering, truck unloading, and sending out for services. Combined with the system’s built-in intelligence, these checks help improve cylinder count and location accuracy.
